A four year programme that engaged dance students, young children and the community of Barnet, through the untold stories of the First World War in the Air
On the 4th of December 2014 the RAF Museum London re-opened the Claude Grahame-White Factory to share the compelling story of the First World War in the Air. Dance at the Museum was a four year programme that engaged dance students, young children and the community of Barnet, through live dance performance and engagement programmes that explored the untold stories of the First World War in the Air through dance.
Between 2014 - 2018 Dance at the Museum presented four different programmes of work that responded to the RAF Museum London’s curated temporary exhibition themes. The programme commemorated 100 years of the Armistice and facilitated 17 new site based works, presented 46 FREE public performances and engaged 61 undergraduate dancers and 41 children in the histories of the First World War in the Air.
